Who doesn’t get inspired by the autumn foliage? When I see the colors of autumn maple leaves, I want to set aside all my art projects and create something with those colors.
Foliage during the fall months in my area looks beautiful. Watch this video recorded last year depicts October colors in my town.
I made a simple necklace with a maple leaf component a while ago. Over the years, other jewelry like my beaded feather pendant and fall color necklace became my favorites, but this year I wanted to create a necklace with a maple leaf precisely like the one I used in the strung necklace. So I started searching for this component online.
Let me know who sells it now because I didn’t find it.
While painting a maple leaf I picked up in my backyard, I was thinking of how all the leaves on one tree are similar, yet their color patterns are unique. Like people’s personalities, aren’t they?
Looking for a maple leaf pendant component, I came across a lovely tutorial on Youtube – real autumn leaves made into jewelry components. No resin or metal was used. I thought it was a great idea! What do you think?
Happy beading!
