My beaded fringe bracelet idea is straightforward and easy to make even for a beginner!
I made these bracelets years before I created the turquoise beaded-fringe necklace tutorial. They were quick beading experiments. My goal was to make a fun focal point for a bracelet. I liked these beaded fringe decorations, and I decided to make several necklaces to accompany the bracelets.
I sold all the necklaces during the next several local fairs, and I kept the bracelets.
Beaded Fringe Bracelet Idea
Peyote Cylinder
In the base of the beaded fringe focal point is the peyote stitch cylinder decorated with fringe. I used seed beads size 8 for the cylinder, and for one of the bracelets, I even used a leftover mix of beads. Who doesn’t have those little mixes of beads and no particular project to use it for?
When you start decorating the cylinder with a fringe, you will notice that the cylinder disappears behind the beaded fringe. That is why you can use any mix of colors corresponding to the primary colors you choose for the fringe.
Beaded Fringe
I used seed beads size 11 of two colors: one color for the fringe and the contrasting color for the fringe’s tip. Using contrasting colors is the key to this design.
You can watch the tutorial for the coral and turquoise necklace and learn how to make this focal point.
Stringing Bracelets
Finally, the beaded fringe bracelet idea is a stringing project. I used beading wire for these bracelets, but you can try other stringing materials. If you choose beading wire for your design, you can learn how to string beads reasonably quickly. Just remember to cut more wire for the project than you need.
After all, this is a quick beading project! Would you consider making it? Do you think it would make a fun gift for anyone you know?
