One or Two Colors?
There are two ways to start learning Cubic Right Angle Weave: using one color of beads, or two colors.
This video tutorial has two parts: the first part is a demonstration of the stitch with one color, and the second part – with two colors.
As I mentioned in my article How to Teach Yourself CRAW Stitch, if you never tried this stitch, I recommend starting with two colors.
However, you still need to understand how the CRAW structure looks in one color. This is why I included both options to learn in my video.
Color Graphics
I created some color graphics to help you understand the geometry of the stitch.
The graphics are different for both parts of the tutorial. The reason for it is to add more ways of illustrating the stitch. Which one you will understand better is for you to decide. You certainly might want to drop me a note, or comment under the video and let me know which cube illustrations were better for you?
What do you need to know before you start?
It is very helpful if you try learning and practicing RAW stitch before you attempt to learn CRAW.

CRAW Projects
Once you are comfortable CRAWing your way in different directions, you might want to try this simple and effective bracelet design idea for your next CRAW project.
I am also working on the new design for a pendant, which will require basic CRAW technique knowledge. Stay tuned! And happy beading!
