Step 1
Starting A RAW Chain.
Use these basic instructions for Right Angle Weave stitch (RAW).
Start with four 11/0 seed beads. Make a circle. Add three more beads and create another circle.
Step 2
Creating a RAW Chain
Continue creating a row of Right Angle Weave (RAW) basic stitch adding three beads at a time. Make a chain of 8 chain “links” total.
Step 3
Adding Superduos on one side
Add one Superduo bead in between each chain “link”. Seven (7) Superduo beads (on one side) total.
Step 4
Adding Superduos on the other side
Add seven more Superduos on the other side of the RAW chain.
Step 5
Adding seed beads
Pass through the seed bead at the end of the RAW chain. Pick up three (3) 11/0 seed beads and pass through the next Superduo bead.
Step 6
Adding Crescent Beads
Add one Crescent bead in between Superduo beads on one side of the beaded element. Six (6) Crescent beads total.
Step 7
Adding Seed Beads
Pick up three (3) 11/0 seed beads. Pass through the side seed bead at the end of the RAW chain.
Pick up three more seed beads and pass through the next Superduo bead on the other side of the beaded element.
Step 8
Connecting
Pass through the second hole of the next Crescent bead. Pass through the second hole of the next Superduo bead.
Repeat 5 times.
Step 9
Finishing Up A Beaded Element
Pick up three (3) 11/0 seed beads. Pass through the side seed bead at the end of the RAW chain.
Now you are ready to attach first cable chain piece.
Step 10
Adding a Cable Chain
Pick up one seed bead, a piece of cable chain (passing through the last chain component) and another seed bead.
Pass through the same seed bead inserting the needle from the other side of the bead.
Reinforce this connection by making the same loop twice.
Step 11
Adding Second Piece of The Cable Chain
Pass through the next three seed beads and weave through the Superduos and Crescent beads to reach the other end of the beaded element. Pass through three seed beads and the side bead of the RAW chain.
Repeat Step 10 to attached a second piece of the cable chain to the other side of the beaded element.
Step 12
Connecting And Completing
Connect both ends of the cable chain with a split ring. Attach the earring wire of your choice and close the ring.
