I named it Green Sparkling Holiday Necklace because I made it just before Christmas and New Year holidays, but I am sure it is perfect for everyone who loves green and loves to sparkle.
Green Color
If I look back, I find my other Christmas necklace, which is also green. However, I liked muted green, more like a malachite green color back then.
This time, I chose a vivid but slightly darker grass green.
Seed Beads
The seed beads I chose for this necklace create a stunning effect. They are silver-lined inside. Moreover, the whole is square and not round. Perhaps, this feature also adds to the fantastic visual effect when the beads are connected in a pattern.
Unfortunately, I did not keep the original package or the label. I wish I could provide more details on the manufacturer, but I have no information.
The Pattern
At the base of this pattern is a herringbone stitch. I followed a Youtube tutorial making my own minor changes: I used lovely glass cube beads instead of larger rondelles. These cube crystals were behind one of the reasons why I decided to make the Green Sparkling Holiday necklace.
Sparkling Holiday Necklace
Holiday jewelry has to have a sparkling effect! If I celebrate, I celebrate with sparkles. How about you?
This design in green resembles a Christmas Tree, I think. What do you see?
