In this video, I show the collection of my bracelets with a peyote stitch base and free-form embellishments.
I started making these bracelets a long time ago. Some were sold as custom orders, some were made for my personal use and remained in my possession. I started making videos of custom ordered jewelry designs just recently. They were my way to observe the evolution of my design and beading ideas. They are, of course, depend a lot on the customer. However, many of them don’t know how to bead, and therefore, they just state what colors they want in the designs.
Peyote Stitch Base Bracelets Design Collection
This collection consists of six bracelets.
- First bracelet “Root Beer” was made for sale. It features one color embellishment seed beads and one color of accent beads – freshwater pearls.
- City Bracelet. I designed it in the monochromatic palette. It features one color of seed bead embellishments and several kinds of accent beads.
- Another bracelet with pearls is very similar to the first one, but I made it in completed different colors.
- Custom order bracelet. I was to mutch colors of the other piece of jewelry unrelated to beadwork. I used many types of accent beads. It is the bracelet where I created another extra layer of embellishment using seed beads size 15.
- First Starfish bracelet was a custom order design. I designed the beaded starfish specifically for this bracelet matching the width of it.
- The Starfish bracelet. Having all those Starfish elements on hand, I decided to design a wider bracelet. I took the embellishments to the next level laying up colorful peyote free-form on top of the beaded base.
