The most recent piece I have finished – Royal Fantasies II Freshwater Pearl and Glass Bead Necklace – is a wedding jewelry piece.
As I prepare my collection for Art & Elegance Show in Oregon Convention Center this coming weekend, I wanted to add another bead embroidered necklace to it. Even though pearls don’t take over in this design, they were the main reason I wanted to create this necklace. Most of glass beads are Czech beads I specifically purchased for this piece at Shipwreck Beads couple of months ago (needless to mention – it was a fun whole-day shopping experience). High quality shell beads used between the embroidered parts and in the chain are from Elan Beads. The focal point of the necklace is a beautiful moonstone I impulsively purchased from US Bead Warehouse at summer Gem Fair in Portland.
As much as I would like to think that bead projects can be spontaneous, as you see, this one was simmering in my head for months.
My other Royal Fantasies jewelry set is here.
