This small flower peyote bracelet is the answer to those beadwork enthusiasts who like tiny details and elegant jewelry.
Focal Point – The Small Flower
The focal point of the bracelet is the small beaded flower. You can create it following my Small Flower Petal Tutorial.
For the flower, I used French 14/0 vintage seed beads.
In the center of the flower, I placed a “rose” bead I happened to find in my stash. I wrapped it with two rows of peyote and Czech 11/0 seed beads.
Small Flower Peyote Bracelet Design
For the small flower peyote bracelet base, I used two colors of seed beads size 11, and two colors of seed beads size 8.
The technique is very simple – flat even-count peyote stitch.
The textural parts are created using seed beads of different manufacturers, so they slightly differ in diameter, and that difference makes bracelets parts look tighter, larger, even, and raising.
For the raising parts of the bracelet, I used antique gold Czech beads with three Delica beads in the middle. Let me know in the comments below if you want me to show you how to weave the base of this bracelet!
Decorations
Four repetitive decorations between the bracelet motifs are made with yellow bicone beads (manufacturer unknown – my stash treasure without a label) and the same Czech seed beads size 8 I used in the bracelet base.
More Small Flower Beading Ideas
If you make a pair of earrings following my small flower petal tutorial, this tiny flower peyote bracelet might complete the set.
I also would like to create a pendant for this set, but I might need to add another layer of smaller petals to the flower. Would you like to see the result of this beading experiment?
