White wine glass pin bead embroidery was a last-minute idea. I needed something new for the holiday sparkling wine tasting party, and an embroidered glass was the most obvious subject for such embroidery.
Beads and Problems
There are not enough yellow tones in my bead collection. When I was working on my recent embroidery – a lion and a bird, I pulled out every yellow seed bead I had. For this pin, I also needed crystals. Sadly, I never focused on purchasing beautiful yellow glass crystals.
Conclusion: buy what you need when you need it. However, if you like quick, impulsive, and creative beading, collect all kinds of beads and organize them well.
Wine Glass Pin or Pendant?
The white wine glass pin measures 60 mm tall. I think it is enough to wear it on a chain as a pendant. When I try it, I will update this story.
There are many details I would work on when I attempt to make another wine glass pin or pendant. Yes, I think I might also need a red wine glass.
For now, I will enjoy this holiday season wearing a new pin.
